What Customers Say About Monster Hunter Freedom:

This feature helps to keep you on the edge, while trying to hunt down your target. It supports up to 4 players in "Link" mode allowing up to 4 players to join in on a hunt at one time. Only the Monster Hunter fans from the PS2 game are going to love this game. When playing solo this game is not as great and at times a bit tiresome and tedious.Replay Value: 4/5This is where this game shines.

CARVE. Oh and don't forget to CARVE. It lacked story and that is one of the major reasons why I play videogames. You must take a job assignment to kill, gather or trap a monster. You get to carve any animals that you kill, farm for more items to use, to make a new item, and repeat over and over and over till you toss your PSP into a wall.Sound: 2/5The sound in the game is good, the music changes tempo when you are near a strong monster. The game truly looks good.Gameplay: 3/5Working as a team (Ad Hoc/Infrastructure) and hunting down a tough monster is tons of fun. Working as a team can make the most boring hunt, fun.Overall: 2.5/5This is a so-so game.

CARVE. Reviewed for Big Boss Games by: TimMonster Hunter FreedomBy: CapcomSystem: PlayStation Portable - PSPThe story intro (taken from the instruction book): What Story.Story: 0/5The story in this game is very weak. The music also gives warning when to run from an ultra tough monster.Graphics: 3/5The graphics are in 3D. I did like the multi-player aspect of the game.

Freedom gives exactly that thew freedom to play Monster Hunter anywhere, anytime with friends or without. Does get a little repetitive but for the true Monster Hunter it delivers greeat gameplay and hours upon hours of fun. If you liked the original Monster Hunter and still want more then look no farther. Adds new variations on old monsters and new monsters all together.

Know when to use the D-pad to swing it around. if anything they're actually a little shorter.100/100if you like games buy it. know when to use the L button to center it. 90% of Japan can't be wrong.

we've had worse, and they're no longer than they were on the PS2 version. The game is nothing BUT hardcore. Period. The camera is amazing, you just have to know how to use it and when to use it. Capcom has made this game with a very specific audience in mind: Hardcore gamers. You start off as a rookie hunter being taught the ways of the hunt by the village elder, he gives you a few quests right off the bat that are fairly mundane like gathering mushrooms and cooking meat which may seem boring to some, but to people new to the game it's a very necessary learning process that will help you get used to the controls.Once you fight your first monster it gets more and more intense as the difficulty and size of the monsters increases. in some areas the default setting for the camera will leave you at a disadvantage, so you have to learn to change it. It's all about timeing and skill.and the load times.

You owe it to yourself as a gamer at least to try. Monster Hunter isn't for everyone, that's for certain. At times it'll seem impossible to defeat them but when you strike that final blow and the adrenaline pumping through your body starts to calm down you get such a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that you can't help but think: "I wonder what's next" From Velociprey to Fatalis this game keeps you riveted from start to finish.and don't listen to the guys reviewing it that say the camera sucks. Come on.

I hope they make more of these they are truly amazing very capturing games. Let the hunt begin.
